		<description>Beautiful!  We visited the castle on our last trip back to the UK - last summer - and it was so great to be immersed in such history.  I really miss that living in NZ.  I often yearn for a Sunday touring one of the National Trust properties or romping on the ancient rights of way.</description>

		<description>yes, one of the few castles where you get a real sense of history. Largely, I think,  because they still have the roof. 

What you did miss though is that the best pork pie shop in Yorkshire is just opposite .</description>
